The heart of Bio Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar was made with whole vanilla pods from our plantations (Betsimis) on the east coast of Madagascar.
It is the result of an innovative process that gently extracts all of the aromatic content of the pod while maintaining a high level of vanillin: 0.41% while the average is around 0.18%. The glycerin used for the extraction and preservation is produced from organic soybean oil. It preserves the product in a natural way and better preserves the aromas.
This presentation has a semi-liquid consistency and is perfect for use in the kitchen.
A 35g jar of "vanilla heart" contains the equivalent of 5 to 6 pods.
